About Me

I’m so glad you’ve chosen to join us on the Path of the Carpenter! It’s an exciting journey that I can’t wait to share with you.

Who am I? I’m Uwimana Hannah. I’m the quiet girl you probably didn’t notice because I’m most likely standing in the corner, observing. I’m the one who only speaks up when I have something really important to say. I’m the one you’ll find with my nose buried in a book, listening to music, or out in nature. I’m also the one pushing the limits, challenging long-held belief systems, and trying something new. I’m an introvert and a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). I’m the deep thinker, the reflector, the meditator, the dreamer, and the planner. I'm a self-proclaimed misfit; a vintage girl who adores boho-chic and anything old.

I’m also a normal (well, okay, not really) girl in my early 20’s. I’m passionate about my family from all over the world. (You can read more about them by scrolling to the top of this page and clicking the tab that says, “My International Family.”) I believe in treating others the way we want to be treated, and in love, forgiveness, giving, and peace.

I don’t always get everything right, but I believe in picking myself up and forging on.

And of course, I’m a writer at heart, which is why I created this blog: To share my journey with the Carpenter of Nazareth, Jesus Christ. I hope you’ll enjoy coming along for the ride!

The hymn that inspired this blog, sung by Carroll Roberson.
